Job Description

Our client is a professional services business based in Banbury with global reach. The business is looking to recruit a Management Accountant into their growing team. Main responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the financial accounting, including but not limited too; conducting reconciliations, P&L and financial statements.
  • Manage daily financial functions, cash flow, and inter-company transactions.
  • Processing of accruals, prepayments, payroll entries and maintain gross margin on individual orders.
  • Work with AP and AR teams to make sure everything has been processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the accounting records to ensure that financial controls and procedures are adhered too.
  • Liaise with tax and accounting specialists in a variety of countries regarding specific requirements.
  • Work with Credit and Sales Department on overdue or due debtors.
  • Oversee VAT and annual returns, in order to reconcile to accounting system.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a comparable role.
  • Confidently produce accurate and timely management reports.
  • Experience of UK/EU VAT and foreign currency transactions.
  • Knowledge of intercompany and multi entity organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP or MS Dynamics would be desirable.
  • Successfully able to work cohesively in a Team and independently.
  • Strong initiative and pro-active approach.
  • Able to confidently work and communicate with internal and external individuals.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:00pm (Hybrid working pattern: 3 Days in Office and 2 days WFH)
