Job Description

Our client are a division within one of the UK’s leading publishing groups and due to divisional expansion are looking to acquire the services of an Events Administrator to join their Events Team in Banbury. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in administration, working to tight deadlines and basic Microsoft Office skills including Excel. Main Responsibilities:

  • Arranging and booking venues and accommodation for attendees and speakers of teacher training events across the UK.
  • Assisting with producing leaflets and booklets for the events and quality checking to ensure all information is correct and updated.
  • Planning and coordinating times and schedules for event speakers for online and in person events.
  • Using spreadsheets to track and analyse figures and reports to provide to the Events Operations Manager.
  • Ensuring all administration is up to date on the system database.
  • Provide support to other departments such as customer service when required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Administration skills required
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and an understanding of Excel formulas.
  • Well organised and motivated individual with a professional approach.
  • A team player who can provide support to other teams when required.
  • Attention to detail.

Additional Information:

  • Working hours for this position is Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
  • Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
