Job Description

Our client is an extremely reputable logistics company and growing business based in Warwick that offers a diverse range of services to a dedicated customer base. The business specialises in delivering these goods and services through a global network, and in turn, gives back financially to the community through charities and education. They are looking to acquire the services of a Business Develop Manager and the ideal candidate will have previous experience in logistics, freight, parcel or pallet sector. Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets and activity targets
  • Develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities and maximise opportunities
  • Establish strong, long-lasting client relationships with every assigned customer
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Complete face-to-face visits with clients, new and existing
  • Act as the liaison between customers and suppliers
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and address them when necessary
  • Attend and present at supplier events and meetings as required
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Implement and execute a strong sales and account management process
  • Prepare quarterly reports and forecasts and analyse sales performance metrics

Key Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A solid understanding of sales and ethical sales practices
  • Great negotiating skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in account management type role
  • Knowledge of the carrier industry is desirable but not essential
  • Enthusiastic sales-focused attitude
  • Customer-centric & Entrepreneurial mentality

Additional Information

  • Hybrid Working – 3/4 days a week in the office working
  • Hours – 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8 AM – 5 PM or 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Company Car, Fuel & On-site meals and many more benefits
  • OTE 20% of annual salary, paid quarterly
