Job Description

Our client is an accomplished, market-leading company based in Warwick who possess over thirty years’ experience in their industry. They are a contracting business specialising in fresh food catering and as a result of their on-going success, they are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator. The purpose if this role is to support the wider Sales team with tendering to ensure that all new business opportunities are maximised. Main responsibilities:

  • Source and apply for contract opportunities using various portals and websites
  • On receipt of SQ/Tender documentation, update the central sales calendar, with all relative dates, and circulate to those involved
  • Assist the Sales department with the printing and collation of tender documents and presentation materials in conjunction with the marketing department
  • Posting out of tenders / letters as required
  • Proofreading tender documents ensuring the content is relevant, current and accurate
  • Applying and writing content for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (SQ’s) for tenders
  • Managing the Sales Pipeline, working closely with the Sales department to ensure everything is up to date and deadlines are met
  • Chasing and tracking of references for tender submissions
  • Updating of the Sales white boards on a weekly basis
  • The maintenance and updating of the Company business maps
  • Maintain sales Information on sales drive and update policies
  • Create and maintain a document filing system for the sales department

Key skills & experience:

  • Able to work well under pressure with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A confident self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • The ability to manage and maintain own workload and the workload of others
  • An organised and efficient individual
  • The ability to turn their hand to given tasks even if not within their normal remit
  • A good communicator to company stakeholders with fantastic attention to detail
  • Strong academic skills with the ability to generate communications both internally and externally
  • Excellent IT skills – word, excel, power-point.
  • Excellent telephone manner
