Job Description

Our client is the leading manufacturer and marketer of products in their specific industry. They have an impressive global presence, and they are currently in the process of opening a brand-new site in Leamington Spa. As part of their expansion, they are looking to recruit an organized and experienced Office Manager to join their growing team. Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly.
  • Ensuring office staff adhere to policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for new processes
  • Managing the onboarding of new starters, including organising training and inductions as directed with management team. Liaising with IT to set up new starter accounts and ensure office equipment is readily available.
  • Managing staff holidays/absences and ensure adequate cover is in place where necessary
  • Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases
  • Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
  • Ensure staff are kept fully up to date with any company changes or news including updating the digital boards.
  • Working with HR to ensure fairness and consistency is maintained across all staff
  • Promote staff development and training
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints if required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and other commonly used office packages
  • Strong IT and typing skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Good teamworking skills and the confidence to lead/motivate a team where necessary
  • The ability to manage your workload and supervise others concurrently
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to converse at a senior level
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
  • A problem-solving approach to work
