Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor based in Abingdon. The business is now looking to recruit a highly capable and reliable Internal Sales Administrator to become part of their established team. Main Responsibilities

  • Input quotations & sales orders received via telephone, email, fax etc
  • Answer customer queries relating to sales order status, pricing etc
  • Create customer accounts on CRM
  • Input relevant customer information onto CRM
  • Liaise with Purchasing, Warehouse and Machine Shop departments to ensure customer delivery requirements are met
  • Process Production Orders and BOMs
  • Take credit card payments
  • Other general duties as required by the company
  • Comply with company health & safety requirements
  • Comply with company ISO procedures

Key Skills & Experience

  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience using SAP or similar ERP software is desirable but not essential
  • Prior experience using a CRM system
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate good flexibility
