Job Description

Our client is a leading technology business that offer many years’ experience within their field. They are looking to recruit a Junior Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate would already be studying their ACCA/CIMA Qualification or have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.

Junior Management Accountant Main responsibilities:

  • Process month end to include preparing and posting journals for prepayments, accruals, deferred income, bad debt provision, stock provision etc.
  • Control, track and report customer rebates
  • Prepare monthly management packs and assist with variance analysis
  • Produce various daily sales and margin reports
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including necessary journals
  • Bank Reconciliation for 4 bank accounts (2 currency)
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and reconciling fixed asset additions/disposals
  • Calculate and post IFRS 16 journals
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare intercompany statement
  • Prepare quarterly group financial reports and disclosure notes to Head Office, Taiwan
  • Year-end closure and preparation of information for auditors and dealing with their queries
  • Quarterly VAT reconciliation, filing and payment
  • Assist with budgeting and re-forecasting
  • Various other ad-hoc duties within the finance department

Key Skills & Experience:

  • CIMA/ACCA part-qualified.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to produce work with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience gained in a similar role, preferably in the technology sector
  • Previous experience of using financial software packages
  • Strong IT skills, intermediate level Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Would be advantageous to have experience of Access Dimensions
  • Confident and reliable personality

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
