Job Description

Our client is an established and highly respected Automotive supplier based in Banbury. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to acquire the services of an ambitious Supply Chain Administrator to join their Supply Chain department. Supply Chain Administrator Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the production team is on target to allow customer deliveries to be shipped and received by set deadlines.
  • Keeping track of customer demand, analysing what products are popular, then forecasting capacities and materials to ensure these are in stock for the Production team to assemble the products.
  • Check and maintain the basic BOM in case of product changes, new product launches or products out of stock.
  • Document all inbound and outbound shipments and analysing data with accuracy.
  • Having a strong involvement in implementing continuous improvement to the Supply Chain Department as well as reducing costs where possible.
  • Working with the Purchasing Team and managing poor performing suppliers with a professional and effective manner.
  • Following the companies ‘Health and Safety at work Regulations’ at all times.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous Supply Chain experience would be beneficial but not essential for this position.
  • Administration experience is desired.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Polite yet professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work towards set KPI figures for Logistics activities.

Additional Information:

  • Working hours are Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (37.5 hours per week)
