Job Description

Our client is an established veterinary pharmaceutical business that develops and manufactures products that are sold by a network of distributors to support the ongoing health and wellbeing of their animals. Due to continued success, the business is now looking for a Internal Sales Accounts Executive. The ideal candidate will have a previous experience within technical sales and have a strong will to succeed. This role would best suit a self-motivated, driven individual who is a natural ‘people person’ and who enjoys building relationships.

Internal Sales Accounts Executive main responsibilities:

  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with vet practices and wholesalers by promoting and selling a range of products in accordance with the Company’s policies, and in line with appropriate customer prioritisation
  • Promote and sell the Company’s products in accordance with the Company sales objectives and marketing strategies. Contribute to the achievement of Company ROC target
  • Responsible for processing orders, responding to customer requests and maintaining accurate records on Company systems/CRM
  • Create and develop an effective call plan based on the sales strategy of the marketing department and targets set within the Telesales department
  • Use the GFK, DLE, Segmentation and any other information systems available. Proactively advise of any errors or changes that may be required
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Company’s annual sales and profit objectives, in accordance with Company strategies and policies.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar sales role, with technical sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving Sales targets
  • Computer literate and a competent user of Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative with a methodical approach and strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and trustworthy

Additional Information:

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm Hybrid working is also available 2 days per week
