Job Description

Our client is a successful and reputable organisation creating products for businesses, consumers, and academic brands. Due to impressive growth, they are looking to acquire the services of a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for the day to day running of all marketing channels and campaigns, whilst contributing to the sales performance. This role will report to the Global E-commerce Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Digital Marketing Manager, supporting the branded manufacture of consumer products.

Digital Marketing Manager Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, generating a demand for the company products that can be measured through click rate, web traffic, conversion and other digital metrics.
  • Develop understanding of the online customer journey and utilising the knowledge gained to effectively influence customers at each stage.
  • Grow brand awareness through digital marketing activity to target key groups.
  • Create a rolling marketing plan aligned with brand identity, marketing calendar, product launch, seasonal windows and campaigns.
  • Manage and develop the company website including web design, home page, category landing pages, product pages, information and customer support. Aim to continuously improve in design, SEO, navigation and user experience.
  • Lead digital projects that improve customer experience and conversion e.g. product tours, compare tools, app development.
  • Create engaging content and assets that inspire, entertain, educate and convert consumers.
  • Lead the social media presence, acting as editor for all global channels and monitoring regional activity.
  • Managing the advertising platforms as well as the content engine.
  • Identify key digital influencers to work with to support the overall brand communication strategy – be the key liaison with ambassadors, influencers and affiliates.
  • Responsible for the global digital marketing budget, supporting the Marketing Director in ensuring advertising and promotional spend is spent effectively.
  • Use data analytics for decision-making and reporting of key digital metrics traffic, bounce rate, dwell time/page views, customer demographics, customer behavior and Return on Ad spend.

Key skills & Experience

  • Degree in digital marketing or communications.
  • Experience as a Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Proven experience of consistently delivering successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Sound understanding of SEO principles.
  • Proven experience delivering ROI, ROAS on PPC and Paid Ads.
  • Experienced in content management systems and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to accurately report on marketing campaigns.
  • A bright, energetic, results driven person.
  • Highly creative and analytical.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional planning and execution skills.

Additional information

  • Working Hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday (35 hours) a week, 1 hour lunch.
  • Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home.
  • Car allowance £6,200 PA, Private medical insurance.
