Job Description

Our client is a well-established and reputable company based in Oxford. They work with organisations to help improve teamwork, collaboration, develop inspirational leaders and solve complex people challenges. Following an internal restructure and an exciting period of growth, they are looking for a motivated and proactive Training & Events Coordinator to join their close knit, friendly team. This is an entry level role and would offer the right candidate the opportunity to grow within the business. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.

Please note: This business offer Hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training courses both in person and virtually, while providing support for all participants and the trainer.
  • Liaise with trainers and venues to ensure the smooth and seamless running of any courses/training programs.
  • Oversee all administration for the courses and programs including distributing any documentation required for the programs and contributing to any program reviews by gathering information and liaising with course managers.
  • Provide trainers with their office support and any guidance they require.
  • Complete estimates of any training expenses and provide these to the sales team.
  • Complete any financial reports or financial investigations if required.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • IT literate, particularly a good understanding of MS Office and Zoom/Teams.
  • Previous experience using an ERP system or CRM system is desirable, however not essential.
  • A ‘team-player’ who would enjoy working in a small team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure with a good attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a commercial or office environment is desirable, but not essential.
