Job Description

Our client is one of the leading awarding bodies for their industry across the UK who develop quality training courses and nationally recognised qualifications. They are now looking to acquire the services of a Product Developer. This is a dynamic role within the E-learning team, reporting directly to the Product Development Manager. The successful candidate’s main tasks will include the development and coordination of all materials for E-learning products, qualifications and awards. E-learning Product Developer Main Responsibilities:

  • Create plans to develop the products in accordance with the specification and deliver internal product briefings to the Product Development Manager.
  • Produce a storyboard for the E-learning courses which include style options and any graphics.
  • Manage external working groups to ensure products are fit for purpose and are delivered on time.
  • Organise external stakeholder meetings to review all materials and product development.
  • Manage and track tasks with internal or external suppliers to ensure that the product development is on track.
  • Ensure that all products are proofread and that all E-learning products comply with brand guidelines.
  • Create and maintain question banks for all online exam materials.
  • Prepare final drafts of products ahead of review includes video editing and animations, and gifs.
  • Provide support to Customer Services when answering technical and general queries.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in developing training or qualification products.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills.
  • Creative, artistic and design skills.
  • Knowledge of Adobe products, Photoshop, Indesign, PremierePro, Animation Etc
  • Customer centric mentality.
  • A valid UK drivers license (essential).

Additional Information:

  • This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm (37.5hrs) 1 hour lunch break.
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working is 1-2 days a week in the office.
