Job Description

Our client is a unique automotive business who have found success in a niche market. Their bespoke service is second to none and as a result of this they have built a large client base within a genuinely interesting and dynamic business sector. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to come and join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate would have 12 months experience in a similar marketing role. The company is based in a rural location so applicants must be able to travel to and from work independently. The role is diverse and would therefore provide a great deal of job satisfaction to the candidate with the right attitude. Please note that there would be occasional weekend work required (approximately 8 days per annum).

Marketing Assistant Main Responsibilities:

• Help develop the marketing strategy in line with company objectives.
• Assist with all marketing activities including website copy, press adverts, press releases and email campaigns.
• Handle incoming enquiries from the media.
• Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Creative Agency.
• Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and promotional campaigns.
• Proof reading for both print and online catalogues.
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
• Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
• Undertake relevant market research and reporting.
• Building and managing customer reviews
• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
• Support before and during events.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Relevant experience in a Marketing role.
• Experience in Google Analytics & Google Ad Words (Desirable).
• Degree/Qualification in Marketing (desirable).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter mentality.
• Ability to work under pressure as well as in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player but also able to work autonomously (people person).
• Full driving license and transport (Essential).
