Job Description

Our client is a leading automotive supplier based in Leamington Spa who enjoy an enviable reputation in their field of expertise. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Executive with a background in the automotive aftermarket sector (ideal), to join their UK/Eire marketing team. This is a multi-channel role with responsibility for implementing pricing policies, develop a category marketing plan and ensuring that all global marketing strategies are adapted for the localised markets. Brand and Communication Executive Key responsibilities:

  • Develop promotional literature to maximise promotion of product portfolio to customers.
  • Create communications plan to promote product & services.
  • Lead digital communications activity though the company website, trade websites and social channels.
  • Develop and execute plans delivering increased brand awareness & market share growth.
  • Manage the merchandise range and co-ordinate promotional activity with customers.
  • Manage marketing budget and working relationships with external suppliers/agencies.
  • Understand all key market trends and the competitive and market landscape.
  • Research the customer journey and develop customer insights.
  • Execute market launches of new products.
  • Develop relationships with sales team and customers by being the category subject matter expert.

Key skills & Experience:

  • Experienced in marketing, category management, Brand & communication role within the automotive industry or similar sector.
  • Ability to work in multi-functional teams in a large organisation.
  • Good commercial acumen, able to understand commercial drivers & metrics to produce agreed results.
  • Able to develop innovative solutions for customers and to develop projects within given parameters.
  • Excellent written and Communication skills.
  • General IT abilities/PC literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • UK driving license (some travel required).

Additional information:

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5am with 2 days a week working from home.
