Job Description

Our client is an extremely reputable and growing business based in Leamington Spa who offer a diverse range of services to a dedicated customer base. The business specialises in delivering these goods and services through a global network, and in turn, gives back financially into the community through charities and schools. One of their key brands is medical product supplier who are experiencing rapid growth and as a result are looking to expand their team with a German Business Development Executive. Please note: Flexibility for a mixture of office and home working is available for this role. The expectation is to work 2/3 days from their Leamington Spa or London office per week.

German Business Development Executive main responsibilities

  • Generating leads, establishing relationships with new prospect and employ follow up techniques that result in wins.
  • Create and inspire market awareness of the company, products and brand.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with key personnel, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Create and develop sales strategies to enhance business growth.
  • Set up strategic client sales meetings for Senior Sales Executives.
  • Contribute to sales targets for the German region and co-ordinate national sales objectives.
  • Continuous improvement to all areas of the business, systems, process etc.
  • Actively support the Regional Manager in setting and achieving the objectives for the region.
  • Communication with Sales Director for support, advice and to ensure sufficient lead generation across all product lines to meet and exceed budgets.
  • Maintain clear and accurate sales documents/procedures for reference purposes.
  • Ensure accurate CRM records for all accounts and contacts in the region.
  • Ability to deliver sales activity KPI’s and report back on these.
  • Assist the Sales Executive to increase sales in allocated territories through working with existing clients and new business development.

Key Skills/Experience

  • Ability to speak business level or native German is essential.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of achieving Sales targets.
  • Prior experience selling new products into European markets desirable.
  • Excellent quality and compliance experience.
  • High problem-solving skills.
  • High analytical and process management skills.
  • Significant experience in the distribution of nitrile gloves.

Additional Information

  • This is a full time, permanent position. The hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Flexibility for a mixture of office and home working is available for this role with the expectation to work 2/3 days from their Leamington Spa or London office per week.
