Job Description

Our client is a well-established, genuine success story based in Warwickshire. Due to continued growth they are now looking to appoint an experienced Probate Case Handler to join their Probate department on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a number of Case Managers and Practitioners within a highly reputable company.

Probate Case Handler main responsibilities:

  • Liaise with bereaved clients and their advisers.
  • Oversee the administrators work and processes in relation to your cases.
  • Further your cases and deal with institutions, the Probate Registries and HMRC and assist fellow case handlers with the same processes.
  • Drafting of legal documents including the completion of IHT205s and IHT400s and other associated forms.
  • Arranging and allocating payments from estates.
  • Collating relevant data to allow the completion of trust tax returns and ensuring that records are maintained accurately.
  • Provide some occasional training to the Probate team and other teams where necessary and provide admin support for the Estate Planning team.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent case management skills and familiarity with all aspects of probate case management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Fast learner with the ability to take on new systems quickly.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
