Job Description

Our client is a successful business that specialises within global security services, equipment and security solutions. Due to team expansion and growth they are looking to acquire the services of a strong HR Administrator to join their family-run office on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and reputable company with a real ‘family-feel’ ethos.

Please Note: The contracted weekly hours will be 25-30 per week, with flexibility on how these are worked, and there is hybrid working avaliable for this role.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain multiple databases, ensuring accurate information is kept including a Covid19 database and in-house databases.
  • Ensuring appropriate security vetting of any new applicants is completed to the highest company standards.
  • Liaise with supervisors and colleagues regarding any new starter or employee queries.
  • Prepare timesheets and documents accurately to submit over to the Payroll Team.
  • Liaise with contractor staff and monitor the Management System for them including any new zero hour staff that require offers and/or contracts that need processing through.
  • Other ad hoc administration tasks and project tasks as and when required.
  • Carry out relevant checks including licence checks.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within a HR role is not essential, however it is desirable.
  • Proficient in Excel and IT literate.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data inputting skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a ‘robust’ nature.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
