Job Description

Our client is an established veterinary pharmaceutical business that develops and manufactures products that are sold by a network of distributors to support the ongoing health and wellbeing of our animals. Due to continued success, the business is now looking to acquire the services of a Junior Product Manager who will provide support to the Senior Product Manager and the Marketing Manager in helping propose and implement marketing campaigns and brand plans successfully. This is a superb opportunity to work within a hugely passionate and close-knit team, with future potential to advance your career in Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years marketing experience, coupled with experience running independent, successful campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement marketing campaigns for selected products to develop brand awareness.
  • Be able to analyse, monitor and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, and propose improvement plans.
  • Develop, manage and share sales forecasts for allocated products.
  • Manage all aspects of corporate PR for the UK and Ireland, including making proposals and suggestions on international marketing policies.
  • Identify and monitor market trends, and proactively react to market data.
  • Research services in the market that would add value to the company and key accounts.
  • Attend congresses and key events to maximise brand exposure.
  • Develop and manage the annual activity and sponsorship calendar that is communicated to the wider teams.

Key skills & experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing is essential.
  • Proven experience to confidently run successful marketing campaigns.
  • A qualification/degree in Marketing is desirable.
  • Naturally creative.
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics or a similar software.
  • Ability to work off your own initiative.
  • Customer-centric mentality with excellent communication skills.
  • A love or passion for animals is highly desirable!

Additional information:

  • Working Hours are 9 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (37.5 hours) 30 minutes lunch break, 2 days a week working from home.
