Job Description

Our client is a well-established and respected B2B Events business based in a beautiful part of north Oxfordshire. They are a market leaders within their niche industry, specialising in providing training, events, conferences and publications to businesses and delegates globally. Due to continued success and investment, they are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Events Coordinator. You will be professional, highly organised and have the ability to come in and hit the ground running. Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and support with the organization of the company’s physical and virtual events.
  • Create and send out all pre-event documentation and materials, ensuring high standards are always met.
  • Keep the company CRM up to date at all times with relevant information.
  • Represent the business at international events while maintaining high levels of customer service and personal standards.
  • Develop strong industry knowledge through monitoring websites, reading publications, speaking to customers, attending events and training courses.
  • Ensure excellent lines of internal communication with Sales and Marketing departments to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • General administration duties as required to support the Event Manager.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in Events is essential.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional team player, with the ability to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Strong listening skills with the capability to make sound judgement calls
  • Sound IT skills (MS Office)
  • A degree or qualification in Events is desirable but not essential.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office.

Additional Information:

  • This role will involve some international travel, attending 3 – 4 events per year, each lasting 3 – 5 days at a time.
