Job Description

Our client is a successful, local medical establishment with a fantastic team ethos. Due to a period of restructuring and growth, they are looking to recruit a Practice Manager to help co-manage and deliver a friendly and smooth service within the clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a ‘family-knit’ team and be a part of an exciting period of change. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual with a naturally caring and empathic persona.

Main responsibilities:

  • General management of the practice including KPIs, IT and Health and Safety.
  • Review and set goals for the clinic, having regular meetings with the company Director to discuss these.
  • Project manage a ‘re-branding’ of the company during an exciting change.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the practice including invoicing and payments regarding patient care as well as managing the Practice Manager’s budget.
  • Manage and maintain best HR practice.
  • Ensure every aspect of patient care is outstanding.
  • Gain valuable knowledge and training through specific training/coaching programme in order to support own personal development as Practice Manager.
  • Enhance the company’s visibility by organising promotions/incentives/talks/screenings and manage any visibility projects which may include charity or community projects.
  • Reception duties as and when required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager/PA or similar role.
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to manage own workload and adhere to deadlines.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to engage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
