Job Description

Our client is a unique and empowering organisation based in Leamington Spa that work to provide the best career platform for young people within the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths sectors. Due to continued success, they are now seeking an Events Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for all the administration relating to events as well as supporting with the delivery of events at peak times. The ideal candidate will have some prior administration experience, and a keen desire to better the lives of young people while working in a rewarding role. Main Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the CRM database.
  • Log event feedback, create relevant reports and chase schools by email/phone for missing feedback.
  • Support the management of event budgets.
  • Ensure staff have the equipment and information they need to fulfil their roles at events.
  • Support the virtual events programme by ensuring equipment is with the school prior to the event and returned after the event.
  • Support with the ordering and stock-management of materials and equipment.
  • Triage online enquiries and forward to the appropriate staff member.
  • If required, attend STEM events in an admin support function.
  • Promote and safeguard young people to ensure all events provide safe environments in which young people can explore and develop their potential.
  • Raise purchase orders, invoices and daily correspondence as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for other programmes and departments during quieter periods.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • GCSE grade C or above (4+) in English and Maths.
  • Experience of databases, preferably a CRM system.
  • Good command of English language – written and spoken.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Additional Information

  • Driving licence and own transport is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel and attend events where necessary.
