Job Description

Our client is a pioneering and globally recognised manufacturer who specialise in bespoke, high quality engineered components and assemblies, based in Haddenham. Due to continued investment, they are now looking to acquire the services of a knowledgeable and experienced Supplier Quality Executive. The successful candidate must have previous extensive knowledge and experience working in a standardized industry. Please be aware that this position may require some overseas travel.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier audits for new and existing suppliers.
  • Raise, contain and ensure effective closure of supplier non-conformances using an 8D system.
  • Support NPI projects by identifying, documenting and communicating requirements to suppliers.
  • Review and sign off supplier PPAP documents.
  • Support sample measurement and incoming inspection activities.
  • Support the quarantine process by coordinating supplier returns.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Supplier Quality processes.
  • Promote a right-first-time quality culture.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal with Professional representation.
  • Certified lead auditor – ISO9001-2015.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, MSA, SPC.
  • FMEA training/experience.
  • HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience working in a standardized industry (automotive, aerospace, med-dev, etc)
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a variety of people.
  • An enthusiastic and energetic “can-do” nature.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
