Job Description

Our client is a pioneering and globally recognised automotive manufacturer and parts supplier, based in Buckingham. Due to continued investment, they are now looking to acquire the services of a knowledgeable and experienced Assembly Panel Wirer. This position includes electrical wire installation and repairing panels as per company standards. The successful candidate must have previous extensive knowledge and experience in electrical panel wiring. Main responsibilities:

  • Electrical build & wiring of company standard products.
  • Electrical build & wiring of company project machines.
  • Use of Electrical procedures / Drawings.
  • Accurately record build status & faults on transit documentation.
  • Manufacture/repair electrical looms as required.
  • Electrical build & wiring of Hartridge R&D Projects as required.
  • Reporting to the Assembly team leader.

Essential:

  • Ability to work in a safe, accurate and timely manner with high quality levels, and to strict due dates.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and contribute effectively to the overall operational environment.
  • Report & record concerns encountered during the build process.
  • Solve problems encountered during the build process.
  • An ability to learn and take on new skills, as training on products and to bolster current skills will be provided.
  • Reading, understanding & interpretation of electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Formal training in electrical wiring
  • Work to quality standards i.e. ISO9001-2000 & business objectives.
  • Assist with the introduction of new products & personnel into production area.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a variety of people.
  • An enthusiastic and energetic “can-do” nature.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
