Job Description

My client is a growing manufacturing company with plenty of pipelined business and reason for optimism. With business moving at a pace an opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The right candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and show adaptability, with a zeal for reporting and business partnering.

The position slots nicely into the wider finance team and reports into a very supportive Finance Director.

Responsibilities include:

Carry out all period reporting as well as special projects as directed by the FD.
Regularly report progress to senior management and compile board packs.
Provide business partnering service to key department heads.
Analysis of margins and labour efficiency.
Costing variance analysis.
Generate and implement cost improvement ideas.

Person Profile

CIMA qualified or finalist.
Financial project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Extensive Management Reporting.
Experience of business partnering with procurement and logistics colleagues.
Advanced Excel Skills.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
