Job Description

Our client is a global manufacturing company based in Banbury. They are proud to be UK manufacturers and their quality products are sold across the world in a wide variety of differing applications. Due to increased demand, they are now looking to recruit into their accounts department and would be looking to speak to individuals who have some prior experience of working in an accounts office, but are perhaps looking to build upon their existing skills.

You’ll be reporting directly to the UK Finance Manager and be responsible for day to day transactional activities within the department. The company are happy to provide further training and support for AAT studies (fully funded), so this is a really good opportunity for someone who is looking to learn and expand upon their current experience level.

Responsibilities include;

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Processing receipts, running payments to suppliers.
  • Creating and uploading reports to global HQ
  • Some credit control/debt management

Skills/experience required;

  • Some previous (recent) experience of working in a busy accounts department, processing invoices and dealing with general accounting work up to month-end.
  • Studying AAT or equivalent qualification would be desired.
  • Good general MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
  • Good general experience of working with accounts software such as Sage or Quickbooks (or similar)
  • Flexible attitude to work and able to work comfortably in a small but busy administration team.
