Job Description

Our client is a pioneering and globally recognised automotive manufacturer and parts supplier, based in Warwick. Due to continued investment, they are now looking to acquire the services of a highly capable Customer Service Account Coordinator, initially for a period of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have previous Customer Service/Supply Chain & Logistics experience and will possess excellent organisational skills. Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and as expected, ensuring that all orders adhere to Legal requirements
  • Check stock availability and identify any issues that could prevent customer orders meeting required delivery dates and work cross functionally to find resolution
  • Provide customers with regular updates and information related to order status, product availability, shipments, returns and support to maximise sales
  • Liaise with Supply Chain & Logistics to provide recovery plans when parts are delayed
  • Support in identifying pricing / credit issues
  • Provide weekly updates to the team leader, identifying the actual orders that will ship within the current month
  • Manage shipment preparation and liaise with the warehouse for distribution of goods to customer, ensuring compliance with customer/legal requirements
  • Co-ordinate the processing of Goods Returns, ensuring appropriate approvals
  • Manage and report customer complaints, and ensure timely feedback

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Customer Service/Supply Chain & Logistics experience is essential
  • Must be fluent in both oral and written English, preferably with an additional language (German or French desirable)
  • Strong systems skills are essential – particularly MS Outlook, MS-Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP/EDI is desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills using positive language
  • Exceptional judgement – knowing when to escalate and when to deal with an issue directly
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Experience in Automotive, Aftermarket or Auto Part Distribution Industry would be advantageous
