Job Description

Our client is an established and well respected business based in Banbury who are market leaders in their industry, offering business to business services to their clients nationally. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join their team. This is a brand new and exciting role for the business reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and providing support to the wider Sales team. You will play an integral part in generating new business leads, developing new relationships with prospective clients as well as maintaining key relationships with existing clients. This role would suit a personable, confident and creative individual who is looking to gain experience and add value to a business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential and existing clients to inform them about new products and services available
  • Follow up on interest from mailshot campaigns and social media activity
  • Analyse data from Marketing campaigns to identify new business opportunities
  • Arrange follow up conversations with clients for feedback
  • Provide support to the sales team e.g. forwarding inbound sales enquiries to the relevant person
  • Conduct market research such as competitor analysis, new industry developments & trends and customer interests/problems/concerns
  • Ensure the CRM system is up to date with the correct information/contact details for clients

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Must have excellent communication skills, particularly a strong telephone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload is essential
  • Ability to positively influence and build effective relationships
  • Previous experience in a Telemarketing role would be advantageous
  • Proficient with computer systems and MS packages, such as Excel, Outlook and Word
  • CRM experience is desirable
