Job Description

Our client is a leading exporter of their product with an innovative and customer focused approach to business. They have been operating, and growing, successfully for over 15 years and an opportunity has arisen for a school or college leaver to gain some valuable, paid work experience by working in their team for an initial period of 6 months. This will be a full time (Monday to Friday) office-based role from their office site in Banbury. The client is looking for an IT savvy individual with strong writing and communication skills to come on board and support them with general office administration in addition to sales and marketing work. The ideal candidate will be an organised, creative, and proactive individual who is looking to benefit from exposure within an exciting, busy business to kick start their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking inbound calls on the reception desk.
  • Handling all post (inbound and outbound).
  • Receive and send samples of the product to clients.
  • Filing and general administration.
  • Office and kitchen upkeep – ensuring cleanliness and that fridge goods are replenished.
  • Following up sales enquiries that come thorough online.
  • Supporting with stock control.
  • Supporting in the development of a new e-commerce channel for the business, to include ideas around boosting their online presence.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum education level GCSE’s but candidates who have further study at college in a related field such as Marketing, would also be highly desirable.
  • No prior work experience required, but a good work ethic is essential.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • IT Savvy – confident using the internet and Microsoft Office.
