Job Description

Our client is a market leading customer-focused organisation. They offer business to business services to their clients all over the UK. An opportunity has now arisen in the Customer Service team for a talented Customer Service Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly motivated and exciting team in a company who can offer future training and development.

Main responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring consistently high standards are met
  • Professionally respond to all incoming customer communications by telephone and emails in an efficient and timely manner
  • To process and update all orders efficiently and with accuracy into the computer system (SAP).
  • Record, store and maintain customer information to provide an accurate database
  • Develop customer relationships through effective communication and problem solving skills
  • Deal directly with customers, advising and assisting them with purchases in a positive and professional manner
  • Handling any customer complaints and ensuring that all problems are resolved promptly and in a satisfactory manner for both customer and company
  • Effective liaising with management and other departments where necessary including the sales team
  • Booking in and dispatching orders via courier services

Key skills and experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Good time management skills

  • Due to location a driving license and own transport is essential
