Job Description

Our client is a market-leading company based in Warwick, specialising within the automotive sector, whose brand is globally recognisable. Due to a team expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of a personable Finance and Pricing Analyst to work within the Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity, which would suit an individual who is passionate, adaptable and looking to work in a dynamic environment, offering the scope for significant future possibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing the company’s rebate accruals and payments and price maintenance in SAP, ensuring all information and data is accurately recorded.
  • Process owner for indirect rebate agreements, ensuring rebate payments are made in line with contracts and claims through vendor invoices are approved.
  • Providing administration support for internal systems owned by the Finance department used to facilitate pricing related processes.
  • Manage promotion campaigns and spot sale pricing, making sure the customer is charged as agreed.
  • Assist with Sales and Marketing to manage Campaigns or Customer Pricing Policy to BCT.
  • Support the query controller in the resolution of price queries, providing accurate information and service levels.
  • Ensuring all customer and internal queries relating to rebate agreements are resolved.
  • Scheduling regular rebate meetings with the sales team to track monthly, quarterly and annual rebate accrual rates.
  • Regular maintenance of balance sheet accounts relating to rebate accruals, highlighting anomalies to senior management.
  • Ensuring journals are processed in a timely and accurate manner for the posting of accruals and payments.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of SAP, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine people person with a “can do” attitude.
  • Numerative, with working knowledge of spreadsheets.
  • Problem-solver, with keen attention to detail and customer focused.
  • Previous experience in a finance role preferred, but not essential.
  • AAT or other recognised qualification preferred but not essential.

Additional Information:

  • Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with a half hour lunch break (37.5 hours).
  • Hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • 1 well-being day and the option to buy 5 annual leave days.
  • Cycle To Work.
