Our client is a well-established, award-winning high-tech automotive company based in Warwick. Due to continued success and investment, the business is looking to recruit a Rebate Finance Analyst into their growing team. Rebate Finance Analyst Main responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the end to end customer rebates process including proposal, approvals, contracts, payments. Working closely with the Rebate Management Accountant to achieve this.
  • Support with preparing/reviewing annual customer rebate contracts
  • Ensuring appropriate recording and management of rebate contacts
  • Preparing payment requests for regions without a customer service team
  • Assisting in ensure the rebate model (Power BI) information is kept up to date to reflect current active contract conditions
  • Assisting in the rebate payment process through Rebate SharePoint. Assisting in the upload, review and approval of rebate payment requests. Ensuring the request file is complete, valid and accurate
  • Assisting in the administration for the Rebates Sharepoint (contract uploads, rebate provision calculations, approvals, storage of historic approval workflows etc)
  • Help ensure that approved rebate invoices and credit notes are correctly posted to SAP and on a timely basis
  • Assistance in the maintenance of documentation regarding end to end rebate process and systems
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Assistance with other month end tasks as and when required to support the Finance team
  • Assistance with ad-hoc tasks, reports and requests

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excel Powerpivot / Power BI preferable (not essential)
  • SAP experience (helpful but not essential)
  • Organisational skills with an attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Prior finance experience necessary (AAT, part qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA also beneficial)

Additional Information:

Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 9am-17pm (flexible)
