Please note: The working hours are Monday – Friday and this role operates a Hybrid Working pattern.

Credit Controller main responsibilities:

  • To set, monitor and maintain the Credit Limit for customer’s accounts
  • Undertake the administration with regard to new accounts, carrying out investigations and obtaining insurance approvals where necessary
  • Control and manage the past due levels on the ledger assigned to you, primarily through telephone contact with customers and Account Managers
  • Identify queries on the customer’s accounts, log queries and raise credits once authorised
  • Reconcile customer’s accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring that the account is running smoothly and all parties agree to the outstanding items
  • Prepare Direct Debit proposals for Shared Service Provider processing
  • Develop a close working relationship with Fleet Admin team
  • Develop a close working relationship with the sales team
