Job Description

Due to recent acquisitions and the addition of two new product lines, our client is experiencing an exciting time of growth and looking to add a telesales executive their existing team, covering a 12 month maternity leave. Based in the Towcester office you will be tasked with contacting existing clients in your territory to develop relationships and sell the companies leading product lines.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Through telesales activity, establish, build and maintain relationships with customers within your territory by promoting and selling a range of products in accordance with the Company’s policies, strategy and in line with appropriate customer prioritisation.
  • Advise customers on new products coming to market, promotional activities and obtain customers current stock levels.
  • Contribute to the achievement of companies’ targets and own individual KPI or team targets.
  • Communicate effectively with customers by telephone, email and online video conferencing to provide product technical information and to keep building on relationships
  • Provide a monthly report to the line manager regarding activity, results, opportunities, risks and feedback from the market.
  • Process orders through the companies CRM
  • Respond to customer requests for product or technical support, maintaining accurate records on company systems/ CRM.
  • Act as back-up for the customer services line, dealing with enquiries relating to products and services, from a technical or quality perspective.
  • Attend occasional customer meetings with your territory manager

Key skills and experience

  • A proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to work is essential
  • Previous telesales experience (working with a product)
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and KPI’s
  • A consultative sales approach that is customer focussed
  • Accurate administration skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to negotiate effectively

Additional Information

The role is based in converted barns and you will need your own transport to access the offices. The position is Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 and comes with generous annual bonuses and benefits.
