Job Description

Our Client is a growing, up-and-coming company based on the outskirts of Banbury. They are an online retailer specialising in various accessories both for children and adults. Due to stable growth they are now looking to acquire the services of 2 E-Commerce Assistants to join their Administration Department. This is a rewarding opportunity to become an integral part of the team and be involved in the rapid growth of the business with significant future possibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creating new listings for various products on online platforms such as Amazon and the company website which will include typing product descriptions, adding in dimensions, colors, inputting keywords to make the product discoverable within searches, etc.
  • Photograph company products to company standards and edit using basic Adobe Photoshop skills to ensure it looks professional.
  • Updating stock levels on the digital inventory, keeping track of product movement and updating the database and listing details correctly and efficiently.
  • Using the tools provided by the company to assist with key word analysis on each listing posted to ensure they are seen by a larger audience.
  • Maintaining all information and product descriptions on both the website or external product listings are correct and updated as and when necessary.
  • Providing support when necessary to other Administration staff which could include setting up of new lines, administration for new promotions and potential Search Engine Optimization.
  • Support in customer service including speaking with customers both over the phone and email communication, monitoring customer feedback on listings and ensuring the company is represented in a positive and professional manner.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong spoken and written English with excellent grammar is essential for this role due to the volume of writing and quality checking involved.
  • Knowledge of major online retailer platforms would be beneficial as well as any basic knowledge on SEO or .html coding.
  • Creative and passionate individual with a good taste in showcasing products to their best either through photograph or through text.

Additional Information:

  • Working hours are Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00. (this can be flexible)
  • Due to the location of the role a full driving license and own transport is essential.
  • Working 5 days a week on site within the office.
