Job Description

Our client is a highly respected firm of solicitors based in Warwickshire, who provide a wide range of legal services to their corporate and commercial clients. They are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to work in their Debt Recovery Team. This represents a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain experience within an office environment, surrounded by an extremely supportive team who will provide full training and ongoing incentives throughout your employment. You will be joining one of Midland’s best and most prestigious law firms, who have a track record of promoting from within and recognising talent and hard work. You do not need to have any prior office experience, simply a good attitude and the confidence to speak on the phone with customers. This role would suit a recent college leaver, university graduate, or someone who is looking to transition to an office environment from a retail or hospitality role.

Please note: Full training will be provided, and the working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm or 9:30am – 6pm. Part time will also be considered, but the structure would need to be Monday to Friday 10am – 2pm. You will be office based, so will need to live locally to Leamington Spa.

Main responsibilities:

  • Handling outbound and inbound calls with customers in order to professionally and courteously discuss payment of outstanding money owed.
  • Follow call and post-call procedures to ensure timely and accurate logging of customer information.
  • Liaising with customers to assess and agree a tailored solution that will result in the setup of payment plans.
  • Working to set KPI’s around call times, volumes and quality.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Confident speaking on the phone with customers (no prior experience necessary).
  • Strong IT skills and comfortable working on a computer.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Professional in approach with articulate telephone communication skills.
  • Able to work and follow procedures in a compliant manner.
  • Enjoy working in a close-knit team.

If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability / notice period. You can also call Hanna Sulliman on 01295 698812 for a discreet and confidential discussion about the role.
