Job Description

Our client is a highly successful, growing company based near Bicester. They focus on manufacturing specialist electronics products across 3 different sectors and are true experts in their field. Due to their continued success and investment, they are growing their HR team with the addition of an Internal Recruitment Administrator. The main purpose of this role is to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from role creation/advertising, through to offer and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Recruitment role from either an internal or agency setting. Please note: This role offers Hybrid Working, with the expectation to work 2/3 days per week in the office which is based near Bicester.

Internal Recruitment Administrator Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the recruitment inbox, responding to all applications as appropriate.
  • Ensure recruitment projects are delivered in a timely manner, and in line with the business plan.
  • Work with hiring managers on the production and review of job descriptions.
  • Keep applicant tracking system (ATS) up-to-date and manage communications (including candidate feedback) with hiring managers to ensure the highest standard of applicant-care is maintained.
  • Brief agency partners on role requirements and act as a point of contact throughout the recruitment project.
  • Maintain the current preferred supplier list (PSL) and deal with any new agency enquires by registering and filing their terms of business and contact details.
  • Work with hiring managers to create questions for interviews in alignment with the competencies required for the role and maintain a bank of interviews questions for use across all recruitments.
  • Schedule interviews and plan recruitment and selection events as required.
  • Screen applications and complete interviews (as necessary) with hiring managers; ensuring interview notes are kept, decisions are documented, and all securely retained.
  • Manage the administration process for new starters including right to work checks, obtaining references, professional membership/qualification checks, offer letters, employment contracts etc.
  • Carry-out any other administrative/HR tasks to support the HR manager in the effective running of the team as desired.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Must have prior experience of seeing through a recruitment process from start to finish. This can be either in an internal recruitment role, HR, or recruitment agency capacity.
  • Understanding of relevant HR and recruitment legislation, including the Equality Act, GDPR and Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act is desirable.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Planning and organisation skills are essential.
  • Experience of using an ATS is desirable.
  • Must be competent on all MS packages (Word, Outlook, Excel etc)
  • An interest in technology or engineering would be advantageous, but not essential.
