Our client has been established for over 100 years and are real experts in their field. Due to continued success and investment, they are recruiting a Sales & Customer Service Assistant to join their close-knit team to provide excellent support to their loyal customer base, as well as help build and develop relationships with new clients. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and personable with the ability to prioritise tasks and possess a keen eye for detail. Sales & Customer Service Assistant Main Responsibilities:

  • Take incoming orders, log on the system, take payments, pick and dispatch orders.
  • Take incoming customer enquiry calls, possible enquires on opening a new account or a question or complaint from an existing customer.
  • Upselling products.
  • Internet research to build a database of potential new clients using industry information.
  • Logging, analysing and writing up reports on returned stock.
  • Analysing returns data.
  • Filing and logging of orders each day.
  • Booking of training courses, and all associated administration duties, confirmation letters, deposits taken, room set up, balance payments.
  • Monthly stock check and restocking shelves.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Prior Customer Service or Sales experience is desirable.
  • Excellent administration skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good IT skills including the use of email, word and excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • An interest or understanding of the hair dressing industry would be advantageous.
