Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor based in Abingdon. The business is now looking to recruit a highly capable and reliable Warehouse Operative to become part of their team. Warehouse Operative Main Responsibilities

General daily picking & packing, taking stock from automated picking machines & pallet racking and packing as required.
Carry out other warehouse duties shown in the list below. This list is not exhaustive.
Stock taking
Booking in / goods inward
Pallet logging
Pallet condensing
Machine / racking replenishment
Cardboard shredding
Box making
Carry out various other general duties as required.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout warehouse areas.
Comply with company health & safety requirements.

Key Skills/Experience

A full clean driving license is desirable but not essential.
An in date FLT license is desirable but not essential.
Ability to read detailed work instructions and interpret them.
Experience of working in a warehouse environment
Be ambitious and goal orientated
Excellent attention to detail.
An enthusiastic and energetic “can-do” nature.

Additional Information

This is a full time, permanent role with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 18:00.
There is an annual profit share bonus.
