Job Description

Our client is a successful and reputable organisation creating products for businesses, consumers, and academic brands. Due to impressive growth, they are looking to acquire the services of a Marketing Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for contributing to product marketing projects whilst managing product information and assets. This role will report to the Senior Product Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Marketing role and hold a Marketing Degree or relevant qualification.

Marketing Assistant Main Responsibilities

  • Provide general support and assistance to all areas within the Marketing, Sales Product Management and Brand teams.
  • Keep up to date with branding and key product ranges.
  • Manage packaging updates with design studios, including re-brand updates and new packaging artwork for new product launches.
  • Keep a record of all the latest approved packaging artwork.
  • Maintain a product copy database.
  • Manage product information updates.
  • Support with the development of marketing collateral for new product campaign launches with marketing materials.
  • Assist with research to gain consumer insight into product and brand development.
  • Create sales and customer-facing new product presentation decks.
  • Write creative briefs for creation of product marketing assets.
  • Manage photography shoots for current and new product launches and brand campaigns.
  • Coordinate translations of product copy into multiple languages.
  • Competitor analysis and research to support product and brand team.
  • Conduct research including market monitoring, competitor analysis, pricing.

Key skills & Experience

  • A Marketing degree or relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience in a marketing role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products I.E Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.
  • Great communication and organisation skills.
  • Creative, diligent and with a proactive personality.
  • An interest in art or the creative industry.

Additional information

  • Working Hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday (35 hours) a week, 1 hour lunch.
  • Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home.
